Let me take you back.  Back nearly a year, when I hadn't really heard of the concept of fanfiction.  I'd just seen the end of season four of Doctor Who and I was absolutely flipping furious.  So the ever lovely ever evil labourslamp linked me to a fix-it fic.  It was all right, so I read another.  And another.  And another.  And they were all (well, not ALL, but you get the idea) okay but none of them really 'did it' for me.  So what does she say to me?  "Write your own then, silly".  So I did.  And I never really stopped, much to the chagrin of all my lovely readers.

Notice that I said nearly a year.  On July 15th it will be exactly a year since I joined the lovely, rewarding, and sometimes embarrassing land of fanfiction writers.  So what does this mean for you all?


I'm accepting prompts, and in fact rather requiring prompts from all of you.  Now of course by all of you I mean all of you who can give me a Doctor Who prompt, because it's the only fandom I've ever done anything for, although I'd also try my hand at Dollhouse if you're into that.  Anyway, give me a prompt (no sex, no slash, other than that I'm up for anything, dark, angst, comedy, anything) and I'll write it.  Here's the 'rules'.

• Give me the character(s) you want.  I can't write something if I don't know who I'm doing.  I know I've only done Donna fic for the most part, but I'll try my hand at anything you like.  Just let me know.
• Give me the prompt word/situation you'd like me to cover.
• Give me the genre.  Not really genre so much as if you want comedy/angst/dark/whatever.

The best part is that this is more of a string of birthdays than just one day, because I started posting stuff on the 21st.  So, I'll get (or at least try to get) everything up before then, because I'll be leaving for camp on the 19th anyway and that way I've set a nice deadline for myself.


And last but not least.  Why am I doing this?  Because it's my ficcing birthday, dang it!  :p

K, so it's starting to rain super hard but I'll put this up before I head back home.  Will be at a friend's in a bit to steal their internet (yay) so until then....
